House Notes
A few customs keep the rooms feeling the way members expect.
Smart casual at lunch. Jackets are appreciated after six. Athletic wear and ball caps stay in the car.
Calls belong in the foyer or on the terrace. The dining room stays quiet — photographs are fine, speakerphones are not.
Members may host up to six guests at table. For larger parties, reserve the private dining room or speak with the club team.
Membership
Membership is extended by invitation of the board, sponsored by two current members in good standing. Members who wish to propose a candidate should write to membership@1790club.com or speak with the club manager.
Events
Member events through the seasons — long tables on the terrace, wine dinners, and holiday gatherings. Members may RSVP and reserve seats through their account; seating is limited.
Georgia shrimp, sausage, sweet corn, and cold beer on the terrace — casual dress, long tables, golden hour.
